Ubuntuデスクトップ にドッカーをインストールする手順。

  1. ドッカーをインストールします。
wget -qO- https://get.docker.com|sh
  1. ドッカーコンポーズをインストールします。
sudo curl -L https://github.com/docker/compose/releases/download/v2.6.0/docker-compose-$(uname -s)-$(uname -m) -o /usr/local/bin/docker-compose
  1. ドッカーコンポーズに実行権限を付けます。
sudo chmod a+x /usr/local/bin/docker-compose
  1. ドッカーグループにユーザを追加します。
sudo usermod -aG docker `whoami`
  1. 一旦、再起動します。
  2. 再起動後に、hello-worldを実行して、ユーザーがドッカーコマンドを使えるか確認しましょう。
docker run --rm hello-world

↓のように表示されたら完了です。（ドッカーのアカウントを求められました。）

$ docker run --rm hello-world
Unable to find image 'hello-world:latest' locally
latest: Pulling from library/hello-world
2db29710123e: Pull complete 
Digest: sha256:7d246653d0511db2a6b2e0436cfd0e52ac8c066000264b3ce63331ac66dca625
